Katrina Klemp Listowel ON Obituary, Cause of Death: With heavy hearts, the family of Katrina Marie Klemp, known affectionately as Kat, announce her peaceful passing on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the age of 42, surrounded by her loved ones.
Katrina’s courageous battle with cancer ended far too soon, yet it never dimmed the vibrant spirit she carried every day. Even in the most challenging moments, she met life with grace, humor, and quiet strength, reminding everyone around her of the value of living fully and cherishing each moment.
She shared a life rich in love and laughter with her devoted partner, Justin Weishar, and was a devoted mother to their cherished daughter, Parker. Together, they built a life filled with adventure, joy, and unwavering love—a life many dream of but few are fortunate to experience so deeply.
Katrina is survived by her parents, Keith and Heather Klemp of Listowel; her in-laws, Joe and Brenda Weishar of Listowel; her siblings Jenn and Gary Martin of Elmira, Jeff and Carrie Klemp of Teviotdale, and sister-in-law Erin Soltys of Listowel; and her adoring nieces and nephews Kinsley, Porter, Madeline, Elizabeth, Connor, Claire, and Natalie.
A passionate teacher, coach, and community member, Katrina inspired and guided countless students, athletes, colleagues, and friends, leaving a lasting impact through her encouragement, warmth, and quick wit.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to her medical team, especially Adriana Muis and Dr. Barb Matthews, for their compassionate care.
A private funeral will be held, followed by a Celebration of Life from 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Listowel Golf Club. Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Listowel. Katrina’s love, strength, and legacy will continue to live in all who knew her.
